FA Cup: Haaland scores five, City beats Luton Town and advances

Manchester City visited Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, today (27), in the round of 16 of the FA Cup, and won 6-2. Norwegian Haaland was the scorer of Manchester's first five goals, with four assists from De Bruyne, while the last one was made by Kovacic. On the other hand, Jordan Clark scored two from the home team.

With the positive result, the team led by Pep Guardiola, who had eliminated Tottenham in the previous phase, advanced to the quarter-finals. Now, the winner of the duel between Wolverhampton and Brighton awaits to find out their opponent. Luton Town, who beat Everton to reach this stage, say goodbye to the competition.

Manchester City's next duel will be next Sunday, against Manchester United in the 27th round of the English Championship. The ball rolls at 12:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Etihad Stadium. Luton Town returns to the pitch this Saturday, against Aston Villa, also for the 27th round of the competition. The ball rolls at 2:30 pm (Brasília time), on Kenilworth Road.

The first goal came out early, after three minutes. Striker Haaland took advantage of De Bruyne's pass and touched the goalkeeper's corner. The second came at 18, again scored by the center forward and with assistance from the Belgian midfielder. The athlete came face to face and, with a firm finish, sent it into the back of the net.

His third came at 40, still in the first stage. With De Bruyne's third pass, Haaland came out in front of the goalkeeper and scored with a dig.

Before finishing the first half, at 45, Luton Town reacted with Jordan Clark. The athlete cleared to the right and finished in the left corner of goalkeeper Ortega to score a paint job. The home team didn't stop  as six minutes into the second half, they surprised and scored the second, again with Jordan Clark. After assistance from Barkley inside the area, the athlete finished first time to score another beautiful goal.
