The live-action movie "Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween Edition - Decisive Battle", starring actor Takumi Kitamura, will be broadcast for the first time on WOWOW in April. On February 17th, "Tokyo Revengers" (from 5:45 p.m.) and the first part of the sequel, "Tokyo Revengers 2 Bloody Halloween Edition -Fate-" (TV debut / from 8:00 p.m.) will be shown at WOWOW Cinema. It will be broadcast all at once.
This series is based on Ken Wakui's popular comic "Tokyo Revengers'' and directed by Tsutomu Eiji, who has a reputation for making live-action adaptations of comics, including "Kakegurui the Movie.'' In the first film, "Tokyo Revengers'', the main character Takemichi (Kitamura) repeatedly travels through time and struggles to change the fate of his ex-girlfriend Hina (Mio Imada) being killed.
In the two sequels, "~2 Bloody Halloween Edition -Fate-'' and "~2 Bloody Halloween Edition -Decisive Battle-'', Takemichi's ex-girlfriend Hina, who was supposed to have been saved in the first movie, is killed again right in front of Takemichi.
Takemichi flies to Halloween 10 years ago, which was a turning point for the Tokyo Mankai to turn violent. The second and third works are the "Bloody Halloween" episode, which is said to be the most tear-jerking episode in the original work. In order to make all of this into a live-action film, it was a masterpiece that required a two-part series, a first part and a second part.
When will the Tokoyo Revengers be broadcasted ?
In April, all three "Tokyo Revengers'' movies are scheduled to be broadcast all at once.
