ViVi” April issue (released on February 22nd) Regular edition cover: ME:I

"PRODUCE 101 JAPAN'' is the Japanese version of "PRODUCE 101'', an audience-participation audition program that was born in South Korea in 2016. As one of the largest audition programs ever in the Japanese entertainment world, it has produced two boy groups: JO1 in season 1 and INI in season 2.

In the fall of last year, the first girl group audition was held for the third installment, "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS'', and the 11 survivors who survived were selected to debut as ME:I "ViVi" has always followed the trends during the audition period, such as by creating a special feature on the 101 trainees before the auditions started and distributing original content videos on the "ViVi" official SNS.

In this special feature, we not only focus on each of the 11 members who newly started ME:I, but also dig deeper into the bonds formed during the audition, their relationships, and their trajectories.

" I'm always hungry for the supply of ME:I ," "I want to know about their messy friendships during the audition and after formation," and "I want to love a whole community of 11 members." The theme of the special feature created for people is "#LoveMeI''. In the unit interview where you can see the "love" nature of the members, there is also a scene where Momona Kasahara and Kokoro Kato, who formed the group "rebloom" based on the level evaluation, heartfeltly say to each other, "I'm really glad we met." Check the magazine to see which members have chemistry.

In addition to off-shots, there is also a page that summarizes behind-the-scenes interactions between the members during the interview and audition period, and questions such as " If you were to compare ME:I to a family, what would it be?" and "Who would be your favorite among the 11 members?" There are also surveys that reveal the love between the members. You can see the relationships between the 11 people from every angle.

This photoshoot was based on two concepts: the chic, cool and cute uniform monotone costumes used on the cover, and the colorful and pop costumes that match each member's character. In the group cut for the cover, it was hard to believe that this was their first magazine shoot, and the 11 members were in perfect shape, and their expressions matched the shutter just like models. The cover has a cut in which all 11 members look like hearts, an homage to the composition once taken by IZ*ONE, the group's senior members who were born from the "PRODUCE 101" series.

When the concept was conveyed to them, some members exclaimed, "Wow! That's awesome! I'm so happy!" In addition, there are many other cuts such as "Wacha Wacha'' cuts where everyone is standing side by side tightly together, and solo cuts where they play with stuffed animals and toys that "make you want to love them.'' Also included is a photo album with each member's solo cuts printed on cardboard on the front and back.
